A snapshot of what I'm focused on.
Work: Working on how every connected component in a vehicle gets a trustworthy identity, and how that identity stays valid and manageable over the life of the vehicle. Identity management sounds like a solved problem, right up until the thing you're securing has to keep working for decades without popping open a terminal.
Learning: Getting a clearer picture of how AI shifts cybersecurity risk, both as a new capability for attackers and as a new kind of system that has to be defended, and what reasonable planning looks like.
Reading: The Order of Time by Carlo Rovelli. Pure curiosity. I find time genuinely strange, and Rovelli leans all the way into how strange it is.
